WRITING

Here I'm going to post some writing stuff we must do as task for the subject.

Here is an essay about the situation in China back in the beginning of the year, when citizens were in huge demonstrations.

CHINA IN PROTEST
If i had to define my thoughts on these events
happening in China right now,  I would say I find it
disgusting. If the words written in the BBC article are
true, I find disgusting that people who believe in the
system they live in, who believe in the progress of
their country have to demonstrate this massively just
to have the permission to be able to go outside.

And in some way I understand the chinese government,
the illness, Covid, isn't gone. And many people have forgotten
that, and it's not an issue to be playing with. But there's
a huge step from seriousness to totalitarism. And I do not
think it is an issue caused by the system, my thoughts
look more towards the government. The repression comes from the
laws passed, and citizens know it.

In conclusion, I am as delighted as disgusted by the
current situation, and I hope this situation ends well.
Demonstrating is the last option. I'd rather choose diplomacy,
but this people have nothing left. Good luck!

Here is a narrative about a trip we made in November.

STAIRWAY TO ANXIETY
November, 2022. Our class was on a school trip in our country's
capital, Madrid. It was an educational trip, although we saw things
apart from museumas and landmarks. We went to an amusement park,
and I'm afraid of heights

The first thing I saw when I was there was a giant structure,
resembling a communications tower. Few seconds passed when I realized
it was a ride, a sort of vertical roller coaster. The mechanism
is simple, you sit there, tighten your security belt and you move
up and down the tower at high speed. At first, I didn't want
to jump in, but my friends and even my Physics teacher, who was
with the school trip as well, encouraged me to do it.

Sat there, with my security belt tightened, I was being relaxed by
my teacher, who said it wasn't about the dynamism and more
about the views you could witness up there. Then we heard,
"Combo Mode!". We asked the supervisor what that mode was, and she
explicitly said: "You go up the fastest, then go down the fastest".
Before I could even be aware of what that meant, we were moving.
We travelled 125 meters vertically in just 3 seconds. Of course,
I closed my eyes and started to count Fibonacci's numbers, a trick
to reduce stress. My friend, who was next to me, screamed:
"Maths! That's much worse!".

All in all, it was quite an enjoyable experience and I would repeat it.
I'm talking about the general trip obviously, because not even mad I would
go up that tower again.
